Situational Awareness
Surface to Diver Comms

Through-water communications remains a challenge for defence dive teams

Challenges include:

  • Security

  • Interference from other underwater sources

  • Difficulty hearing due to the underwater environment

  • Devices are often cumbersome and bulky

  • Cost and maintenance

  • Training burden

Proven through-water
communication data transfer

with technologies adapted specifically for the Diving Industry

The Requirement

  • Diver communication is paramount to safety and mission effectiveness:

  • Dive coordination

  • Share info about location, depth

  • Communicate in low visibility / complex operations

  • Alert to problems / emergencies

  • Problem solving and adjusting dive plan

  • Data capture real time

The Solution: DiveTrack

Dive Track uses GPS and acoustic signals to provide real time, safety critical, situational awareness.

The system enables the Dive Supervisor to locate, monitor and track up to eight divers at one time.
